Rental equipment
Some equipment can be rented from Boreal River Rescue. Prices are in Canadian dollars and include rental for your whole course:
- Wetsuit (full length arms & legs, fleece-lined) - $63
- Helmet - $12
- Rescue PFD (with ‘quick-release’ harness) - $40
Course site
There are a number of great whitewater rescue training sites around Whitehorse that we will choose from depending on water levels.
The meeting location on day-1 is: Rotary Park, Whitehorse, Yukon.
We'll start at our meeting spot with some on-land training. We'll then carpool to our first river site. For the rest of the course, the instructor will let you know about meeting locations for each day depending on water levels.
