Eligibility
Open to permanent teachers in Canada (full-time or part-time) who currently lead, or are preparing to lead, outdoor education or field trips with their students.

We may contact your principal, vice-principal, or department head to verify your role.

• Optional post-course resource — Customized Risk Management Training Exercise. If you opt in, we’ll schedule a short call with you and one of our senior instructors after your course with us. For public whitewater rescue and ice rescue courses (not medical):

If you’re part of a group of 3 to 5 people: get 10% off tuition if you all register for the same course.

If you’re 6 or more people: get 15% off tuition if you all register for the same course.

For outfitters, adventure companies, and summer camp staff

Staff Special #1: 4 on different courses, 10% off

• Staff members get 10% off tuition if 4 or more from the same organization join courses in the same calendar year
  
• Staff members don’t all have to be on the same course: it can be a mix of dates, locations, and certifications
  
• Can be used for any ‘public’ wilderness medical*, whitewater / swiftwater rescue, or ice rescue courses

*Fine print: the only course not included is WFR-Recertification, as we already have that discounted as much as possible.

How to register:

• We send each organization that qualifies a promo code. If you don't have one yet, please contact us.
  
• If staff members register themselves, each individual can book online with the promo code.
  
• If management registers on behalf of staff members: you can use the same promo code online or contact us anytime with questions and/or to get everybody enrolled

Staff Special #2: 6 on the same course, 15% off + free rentals

• For 6 or more of your staff on the same course (same location & date), if you pay by cheque or e-transfer, get 15% off
  
• This program also includes free rental gear (wetsuit, PFD, helmet), where applicable

For whitewater rescue and ice rescue courses:

Groups like Paddle Canada Instructor Members, Outward Bound Staff, and SAR teams have set up pro-deals with us.

Pro deals are for 5% to 10% off tuition and are for river professionals (guides, instructors, athletes) and emergency responders.

Each group has a promo code that river pros can use to get the discount. If you don’t know your code: contact us anytime—or find out from whoever manages pro deals at your organization.

If you believe you or your members should have a pro deal: reach out to us—and we’ll set it up.

If you’d like to take the Whitewater Rescue Technician Levels I, II, & III course, but you can’t make it to one of the scheduled 5-day blocks or two-weekend courses:

• combine any 2-day WWR I & II and 3-day WRT-Bridge III across Canada in the same year
• pay the price of the 5-day course, instead of the two separate courses
• this will save you up to $189
