Online Ice Safety & Rescue Intro Course

Our free online ice safety and rescue course introduces the basic concepts of ice safety over 4-hours of material. The Certificate of Completion awarded at the end of the course is valid for 6-months and can be used to transition to one of our in-person Ice Safety & Rescue courses.

You'll learn:

• general safety principles
• ice assessment
• the various types of equipment used on the ice
• rescue scene management
• throw rope techniques and various knots

Please note: This free online course is for anybody who travels, recreates, hunts, or fishes on frozen waterbodies. It is not for organizations requiring this for work.
