Online Ice Safety & Rescue Intro Course

This free course is for anybody who travels and recreates on frozen waterbodies.

Get introduced to ice safety and rescue — with 4 hours of videos, text, quizzes, and some (on land) hands-on skills.

• Learn at your own pace — you'll have 3 weeks to complete the course
• Works on your phone, tablet, or desktop
• Once you successfully finish the course, you'll be able to download your certificate of completion

If you decide to join an in-person 2-day Ice Safety and Rescue (ISR) course, this online training will count as your mandatory pre-course prep for that program, as long as it's within the next 6 months.
