Get international certification as a Whitewater Rescue Technician (WRT)—the standard for river guides, instructors, and river runners. Build confidence, knowledge, and skills through hands-on practice and simulations.

You’ll gain tools for rescues, starting in easy rapids then challenging yourself in harder water and more complex situations. Become competent performing effective rescues with limited resources—and making smart decisions when river running.

You can also take the course over two blocks* by doing the 2-day Whitewater Rescue (WWR) I & II and then, anytime within the 3 year certification period, taking the 3-day WRT-Bridge III

*Combine any 2-day WWR and 3-day WRT-Bridge across Canada in the same year—pay the price of the 5-day WRT. See the ‘WRT Combo’ tab below.
